Authentic vintage folding vanity mirror dating from the mid-20th century, circa 1960s–1970s.

The piece is designed as a compact three-panel mirror intended for personal grooming and dressing table use. Its articulated structure allows the side panels to be adjusted, enabling multiple viewing angles — a practical feature commonly found in domestic vanity accessories of the period.

Design & craftsmanship

The mirror is constructed with a chrome-finished metal frame surrounding three glass mirror panels. The exterior surfaces are covered in a red synthetic material, creating a visual contrast between the polished chrome structure and the coloured outer casing.

The hinges allow the panels to fold inward, protecting the mirrors when not in use. Light wear and minor surface marks consistent with age may be present, reflecting normal use over time.
