Italian floor lamp from the 1970s with a chromed metal structure and three spherical blown glass shades.

Attributed to Toni Zuccheri, based on stylistic criteria.

Description

The piece

This Italian floor lamp dates from the 1970s and reflects the sculptural approach to lighting design characteristic of the period. The vertical tubular structure is executed in chromed metal with a reflective finish, supporting three spherical blown glass shades arranged in a balanced composition.

The glass presents a milky white base with amber-toned inclusions, creating a distinctive visual depth when illuminated. The piece is attributed to Toni Zuccheri on stylistic grounds; no original label or documentation is present.

Lighting & atmosphere

The three light points provide a soft, diffused illumination. The blown glass shades gently temper the light, producing a warm and atmospheric glow rather than direct lighting.

Where it works best

Designed as a floor lamp, this piece works well in living rooms, reading areas, studies or bedrooms. Its sculptural presence allows it to function both as a lighting element and as a decorative object within the space.
