Mid-century pair of table lamps with hemispherical opaline glass shades and minimalist Scandinavian design.
Sold as a matching pair.
The piece
This matching pair of table lamps features a clean hemispherical design strongly associated with Scandinavian and Nordic lighting from the mid-20th century. The opaline white glass shades provide a soft, even diffusion of light, reflecting the Scandinavian emphasis on visual comfort and functional simplicity.
The structure and base are made of plastic, and both lamps retain a “patented” marking, indicating an original design manufactured in Spain during the second half of the 20th century.
Lighting & atmosphere
The opaline glass produces a gentle, homogeneous glow, ideal for ambient lighting. These lamps are designed to create a calm and comfortable atmosphere rather than strong directional light.
Where it works best
Designed as table lamps, they are particularly well suited for bedside use, shelving, sideboards, or as auxiliary lighting in living rooms and bedrooms. Their restrained form allows them to integrate easily into Scandinavian, Nordic, or mid-century modern interiors.
